The Director of Information Systems, Project Management Office (IS PMO) is responsible for developing the project management methods and practices to ensure the successful implementation and execution of the IS related projects, programs and services for the business. In this role, you will establish the IS PMO function and serve as a key point of contact for STEMCELL’s leadership team and senior stakeholders, providing a conduit for their interests and objectives, while equally serving as a channel of engagement and communications from the IS PMO to the respective business unit or area. This role is integral in ensuring alignment between the delivery of solutions, capabilities and/or other project work against STEMCELL’s strategic goals, priorities and operational activities.
As a member of the IS management team, you will provide leadership direction and support in driving the functional project management maturity within the IS Department, in addition to tracking and reporting the conformance to project scope, budget and schedule. This involves the successful delivery and facilitation of change management initiatives to execute varying scales of project scope across the organization by working with the broader STEMCELL Project Management Community of Practice, sharing best practices and mentoring the project management team.
