IDEA Resource Library for Alberta Bio-Economy Employers

As part of the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) in Alberta’s Bio-economy project, this resource library provides employers with essential training programs, educational materials, and industry insights. By leveraging these tools, organizations can attract top talent, foster an inclusive workplace culture, and address labour shortages through increased participation from equity-deserving groups.

BioTalent Canada worked closely with our Alberta industry partners to assess the representation of equity-deserving groups in Alberta’s bio-economy. We conducted a Labour Market Impact (LMI) survey and an in-depth environmental scan to curate resources tailored to the specific needs of employers.

All the following IDEA resources are organized by equity-deserving groups, with each entry listing the hosting organization.
